Family Projection Slides Reprocessed
In this series, I’ve collected and printed a few of many projection photograph slides from my family. Most are from 1960 and later, and there are traces of imagery left after they were stored in a water-damaged box, some show my uncles and great-grandmother in their younger years. Using a color printing darkroom facility, which is quite rare nowadays, I placed the slide in the enlarger like you would a piece of film and exposed it on color photography paper. Then it was processed in a vintage color printing machine that contains all of the extremely toxic chemicals used to develop the color imagery.
